The (ATC) was established in 1984 when a group of dedicated Alexander Technique teachers came together wanting to offer both individual lessons and introductory group evening classes and workshops. It was then known as The Alexander Teaching Centre.

Some of the teaching members have changed over the years, and our work has expanded to included on-site teaching in companies.

The ATC has considerable experience in giving consultations in the workplace where our expertise has been recognised as good business practice.

All our teachers are members of STAT (The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique), have completed the required three years full time training and adhere to a published code of ethical and professional standards.

One to one lessons, consultations in the workplace, lectures, demonstrations and workshops, tailored to suit the needs of any individual, company or interested group of people.
