These classes offer an introduction to the Alexander Technique, how it works and how it can add a new dimension of awareness, well being and creativity to your life. The courses are very practical and involve an exploration of the main ideas and principles behind the Alexander Technique. Using demonstration, observation and gentle hands-on guidance, teachers will show you how the technique can be applied to everyday activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, lying down,
sitting at
a work station, speaking and breathing. Gentle movements are performed
with maximum attention and awareness. No previous experience is required.
